Walailak University Nursing Faculty and Students Visit Sōwa University, Japan for Professional Exchange

Faculty and students from the School of Nursing, Walailak University, traveled to Sōwa University, Japan, to observe nursing practices, exchange knowledge, and participate in specialized healthcare activities.

As part of an international professional exchange program, faculty and students from the School of Nursing, Walailak University, visited Sōwa University, Japan, to gain insights into nursing practices and healthcare management. The program aimed to broaden participants’ perspectives, enhance professional skills, and foster cross-cultural collaboration.

During the visit, participants engaged in several activities, including:

Observational study at the Home Care Unit with Unimedico Foundation at Fujigaoka: Participants learned about patient-centered care practices and community-based nursing services.

Exploration of Eastern medicine practices at the Faculty of Medicine, Sōwa University: Participants studied herbal medicine and acupuncture techniques, gaining hands-on experience and understanding of integrative healthcare approaches.

This visit provided a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge, observing innovative nursing practices, and building international networks that contribute to the professional development of both faculty and students.
