On December 11, 2566, Assistant Professor Dr. Orapen Sukhavulli, the Dean of the School of Nursing, Walailak University, Associate Professor Sudha Jaihao, the Vice Dean, and faculty members welcomed Assistant Professor Dr. Windy Rakhamawati, Vice Dean, and Dr. Siti Yuyun Rahaya, Head of the Center of Research and Community Service Development from the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss establishing an international nursing program in the form of a Double Degree between the School of Nursing at Walailak University and the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Padjadjaran.

During the consultation, plans were outlined to develop a Double Degree program between the two schools for the academic year 2568. The collaboration also extended to research initiatives, with both schools planning joint research projects. Additionally, there was an agreement to cohost an international conference in 2568. Furthermore, the delegation from Universitas Padjadjaran was given a tour of the nursing laboratories at the Science and Technology Instrumentation Center at Walailak University.

 

This collaboration aims to strengthen ties between the two institutions through academic programs, research endeavors, and international conferences, fostering a rich exchange of knowledge and expertise between the Faculty of Nursing at Walailak University and the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Padjadjaran.
