On 21 July 2026, Miss Lu Xu, a nurse enrolled in CNP66-621: Research Methodology I during the first semester of the Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner, School of Nursing, Walailak University, participated in an educational study visit to Suansaranrom Hospital.

The study visit provided valuable learning experiences in various areas of mental health nursing, including the Department of Nursing Services, the Mental Health Clinic for Older Adults, Baan Saranjai (Elderly Day Care Center), specialized mental health clinics for patients with specific conditions, outpatient mental health services, and the clinical teaching and learning system in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing.

The visit was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sujira Wichaidit, Department of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, School of Nursing, Walailak University, who guided the student throughout the learning activities.

This study visit offered an excellent opportunity for international academic exchange, enabling the student to gain practical insights into Thailand’s mental health care system while strengthening research knowledge and clinical competencies in psychiatric and community mental health nursing.
