Walailak University School of Nursing Prepares for International AUN-QA Accreditation
The School of Nursing at Walailak University is moving forward with its commitment to educational excellence as it prepares for the upcoming international quality assessment under the AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance) framework.
Strengthening International Standards
Recently, Associate Professor Dr. Apirak Payaka, Assistant to the President for Quality Assurance, chaired a strategic preparation meeting with the executive team of the School of Nursing. Key attendees included Assistant Professor Dr. Orapen Sukhavulli, Dean of the School of Nursing. Associate Professor Dr. Naiyana Noonil, Program Chair. Faculty members and program coordinators.
The meeting focused on meticulous planning, facility readiness, and logistical arrangements to welcome the board of assessors. The goal is to ensure that every aspect of the program’s operations reflects the high standards required by the AUN-QA international criteria.
Focusing on the Master of Nursing Science (Community Nurse Practitioner)
The upcoming assessment, scheduled for March 25–26, 2026, will specifically evaluate the Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner. This accreditation process is a vital part of the university’s strategy to elevate its postgraduate programs to a global level.
By undergoing this rigorous international evaluation, the School of Nursing demonstrates its unwavering dedication to continuous quality improvement. The initiative aims to produce highly-skilled nursing graduates who can effectively serve society and meet the evolving demands of the global healthcare sector.
