School of Nursing Walailak University collaborated with School of Allied Health Sciences SHOWA University

School of Nursing collaborated with School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University, organized a project titled Medical Technology Exhibition Study and Academic Collaboration in Japan.” The key activities of this project included firstly, visiting the medical technology exhibition organized by the Japanese Association of Clinical Laboratory Systems (JACLaS) in Japan. Secondly, established cooperation for developing Interprofessional Education (IPE) for the project. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was created for academic exchange, teaching, and collaborative research at both undergraduate and graduate levels at Showa University, Japan. Furthermore, there was a joint presentation and exchange of research information to foster international research collaboration with professors and researchers from Showa University, Japan. This collaboration aimed to conduct research in the health sciences and nursing field to become a leading global research university. Additionally, there were learning exchange activities focused on Home Health Care for Elderly People in Japan to study and analyze elderly care at home then comparing it to the situation in Thailand. The Dean of school of Nursing, lecturers and staff members guided students and engaged in knowledge exchange with Thai and Japanese students at Showa University, Japan.
