Empowering Nursing Research: Walailak University Hosts “Stat Start: A Beginner’s Guide for Nursing Researchers” Workshop

On January 28, 2026, the School of Nursing at Walailak University organized a specialized workshop titled “Stat Start: A Beginner’s Guide for Nursing Researchers” to bolster the research capabilities of its faculty members.

The workshop operated under the concept: “Statistics as a Tool for Quality Research and Leveraging AI for Enhanced Learning.” The primary goal was to empower nursing faculty by strengthening their foundational knowledge of essential statistics for research and demonstrating how to effectively integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the research development process.

The event featured Associate Professor Dr. Poolpong Sukasame as the distinguished keynote speaker. He shared his extensive expertise and practical experience in statistics, research methodology, and the strategic use of AI to support and streamline nursing research workflows.
