Walailak University Nursing Faculty Collaborates with Universiti Sains Malaysia to Plan International Student Activities

On February 18, 2025, faculty members from the School of Nursing, Walailak University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Orapen Sookawan, met with colleagues from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) to discuss international academic collaboration and plan a series of student-focused activities.

Faculty from the School of Nursing, Walailak University, participated in a collaborative meeting with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) on February 18, 2025, aiming to strengthen international academic cooperation and enhance learning opportunities for students. Asst. Prof. Dr. Orapen Sookawan, along with faculty members from Walailak University, engaged with USM representatives to outline future initiatives for both institutions.

The meeting focused on developing activities to enhance students’ skills and global competencies, including:

International Conferences: Providing platforms for students to present research and exchange knowledge in the field of nursing.

Clinical Reasoning Activities: Strengthening analytical thinking and decision-making skills in clinical nursing practice.

Student Exchange Programs: Offering Walailak University students opportunities to study and practice at USM in Malaysia.

Faculty Exchange Projects: Promoting collaboration in teaching, research, and curriculum development, fostering a stronger network between the two universities.
